I am glad it is April...it always starts with my Dad having his birthday on the
first day of the month! He turned 93 this year. It was sad that he couldn't really
hear me when I called him, but I was able to say "I love you!".
March ended with me sewing a flower girl dress for a friend's daughter and sewing a dress for our granddaughter's baptism. (which will be on the 18th of April) Bob and
I also got to go to San Francisco to pick up my Sister, Dottie and her husband that were on a 50 day cruise...that is right NO typo...5 0 days!!!! They cruised around South America. It sounded like so much fun and they did have fun!!
My mother wasn't feeling well this month and had an overnighter in the hospital. They changed her medicine and she seems to be a little better. So this made me realize how we won't have my parents forever on earth! So I am collecting pictures from family of my parents and David will show me how to do a slideshow! I figure it is better to work on it now than burn the midnight oil getting ready for a funeral. It has been fun going through pictures and seeing the ones that family has sent.
March is always a full month for birthdays for our family: my Sister, Catherine, and grandsons Tyler and Anthony, a daughter in law, Julie, and a granddaughter, Alyssa.
April then starts with my Dad, then grandsons Bryant and Brody, and a daughter in law, Vanessa.
I will be going to Utah on Easter night and staying for a week. Bob will join me on Friday the 17th and be there for the baptism of Alyssa. I am going early so I can see my parents and sisters as well as Angelas family.
March brought me a new level of pain with my leg. So I am having some tests done to see if it is anything besides my neuropathy going on....I hope I can find some relief soon!
March Madness is over....YAY!
